Absolutely shocking experience. Firstly this car rental is NOT in the terminal. After aimlessly walking around to find it we then had to queue in the heat (no shade) with two small children for a shuttle bus to take us to a barren petrol station where the car rental is located. We booked a car big enough for 5 people and bags and the car was tiny. We couldn't even fit two suitcases in the boot! We asked them for a different car which only was marginally larger i still had to hold my childs buggy on my lap as it wouldn't fit. They were so unhelpful and rude. My daughter is disabled and they didnt even offer to help. Cars are absolutely filthy. I would not recommend booking a rental through budget at this site.

Beware, It's simply ridiculous. Firstly, the location is outside of airport - there are not regular shuttle bases , so to get this sorted you have to call them and wait . Secondly, they do add extra products into your contract not even mentioning this to you, which you would not expect when you make pre paid reservation online. It is just a trick to make more money , and they do not care for the reputation at all . Awful customer experience aftertaste.

Great car, friendly staff. Was surprised that it was off-airport, as we booked via the Airport's own site which listed this as an on-airport option. However, we were glad to be whisked away by the Budget/Avis minibus to their depot, which is about 3-4 minutes away and right on the A30. This avoided the very long queues at the on-airport operators. There was no real pressure to buy extra insurance, but it was offered. Drop off was simple. There was no-one at the depot when we arrived for drop-off, but a quick phone call and a lady swiftly appeared from the airport. I would 100% use Budget at this location again.

Despite saying several times that I didn't want insurance, the employee ticked that I did want it. I couldn't have been clearer. I was charged when dropping the car off. Complained to Budget, obviously no use (eventually had a reply after a month). Don't use them, if you do, read what you sign very carefully. Don't take their word.

Used Budget for 25 days in September /October and the service and support was second to none. One issue with an engine management light coming on resulted in the car being exchanged and upgraded. When my flight was cancelled due to French airtraffic control and Ryan Air - - - Budget showed great understanding and quickly extended the rental of the car. Being closed on a Sunday is something to be aware off but the drop off and taxi to the airport was straight forward. Nothing but praise from me.

Have just used them for 15 days in Spain. Like many car hire companies at Murcia Airport they are off airport, but this keeps the costs down - Firefly car charge a premium fee for on airport collection around 40 EUR. Everything went well, no hard insurance sale, full to full fuel with no fees or no queues. Easy to access for roads. Couple of points to remember it doesnt operate on a Sunday and the petrol station attached closes at 3.00 PM on a Saturday - in summary I would definitely use them again.

There was nobody to meet us at Murcia Airport, we searched for a rental desk but all we found was another couple doing the same. I phoned a contact number found on the paperwork the lady came to collect us and took us to there office which is about 10 minutes away. The rental staff were on there own as this was the case when we returned the car. Car was fine and the ladies were great but they need more help/staff, so to get more stars.

An absolutely shocking service. They advertise as being at Murcia Airport, which they aren't, they are in reality 4 miles away with a courtesy shuttle that doesn't operate every day. If your car return date is on a Sunday there is **NO WAY** to get to the airport other than calling a taxi which may show up a few hours later (our solution was go to the airport and pay for a taxi to go to the rental to pick us up to take us back to the airport). It's inconvenient, expensive and incompetent, why place a car rental for an airport in the middle of nowhere. Never will use this budget rental again. The car however was in good condition and had no issues whatsoever during our use. If you use this rental, ensure its not a Sunday you are returning it on!
