I always use Autos Mahon Rent in Arenal d'en Castell resort for scooter hire. They are very friendly and picking up and using their vehicles is straightforward without any hidden excesses and pushy add-on charges that the big airport companies try to sell you with scare-monger tactics. The vehicles are roadworthy and reliable, but if you are looking for top-of-the-range polished vehicles at these affordable prices go to the rip-off airport companies for them. I highly recommend Autos Mahon Rent and will continue to use them for future visits to Menorca.

Great hire car company with competitive pricing. We hadn't pre booked but wasn't a problem and within an hour we arrived at the office and completed the paperwork our chosen class B car was delivered. No hidden extras, no excess. Car just to be returned with same fuel as delivered. Really friendly and lots of helpful information, maps and fuel discount card. Was really flexible when we weren't sure if we would drive back to airport and leave car for collection. Nothing was a problem and all done messaging through WhatsApp. Thank you so much excellent customer service.

Found this hire shop by accident, they are amazingly helpful and friendly. Just really nice people. They got us the car that we needed really easily, no hassle, even recommended lots of things to do on the island. The price was a lot better than other car hire places on the island aswell, which helped considering we had an 8 seater. Would highly recommend, will definitely use again on our next visit. 5/5 !! We were given a fuel discount card aswell which was great and lots of maps with interesting places on. No deposit, no insurance excess either.

The delivery and tracking service is optimal. The cars are not the newest but it compensates a lot with the treatment and the availability and the price, It is possible to pay in cash or card upon delivery. I will not hesitate to hire again if I return to Menorca

We rented a car here for 3 days. The landlady and her family are very friendly and warm. We got a cute little yellow car that we were very happy with. The price of 145 included all insurance + a second driver, which I found to be very fair. We would definitely rent a car here again and felt much more comfortable than with a large car rental company.

We loved the experience. We had already seen in the Portuguese group in Menorca some references to Gene, his service and friendliness and they were correct. Gene was super friendly, gave us directions on good places to visit, where to eat, interesting market times, and even gave us an extra 3 hours on Saturday morning so we could visit the Mahon market. Family business which is always great to be able to help. Gene at Arenal de En Castel and her husband at the airport. Next time we will rent directly at the airport. Super economical price with no deposit and half a tank of fuel. The fleet is not very new but well cared for. The best of all was the experience of riding in a top red RAV 4 which made some trips a lot easier for us. We highly recommend it.

My family and I with 2 children stayed at Seth Isla Paraiso Arenal den Castell, adjacent to the property we rented a car from the very kind Gene (I hope its written like that), you can see she puts her heart into it and she was also very helpful for price and availability. We have been to Arenal den Castell on Menorca about 5 times now and each time we rent a car for a day or 2 from Gene from Autos Mahon Rent. Last week we were there again and this time rented a car for a week. Great service. The car was ready at the airport, returning it afterwards was also very easy. Gene at Arenall den Castell is adorable. Quick rental, no unpleasant surprises, no excess or additional costs, very reasonable price 90 for 3 days, and no additional costs. The vehicle was a 206, practical and as it was not new it causes zero stress from small scratches which can be caused by third parties in a parking lot for example. Super simple, we left the car at the airport on the way back with 1/3 full in the parking lot right in front indicated by Gene, I highly recommend! Adorable and competent!
