The best customer service especially from Shere, she was very helpful and supportive.
A smart scam. Got nothing to proof for but this is how we feel. The car had a list of marks when picking it up and when returning it the person checking literally walks up to the car and first thing shows us damage on a plastic tire cover we havent checked when picking it up. It seemed like she knew where to look. Again, nothing to show for but something smells fishy. NEVER!! am I going to rent another car from them.
I had booking reservation and it was all good the car the staff everything was great. Thank you for everything. The only thing was that I needed to travel from benidorm to alicante to pick up and drop off the vehicle. It is possible to make the reservation without big amount of deposit if you pay extra for insurance... also EUR100 is needed to pay as a holding deposit for fuel which was new to me. Still haven't received back
Quick and pleasant service...the agent dominates English as well as Spanish and I guess she herself was of origin from some other European country that's makes her speaking multiple languages. Entering to parking while returning the car back is tricky enough if are coming from opposite direction of the main
Unfortunately, the car had a dent on the left front fender, which we were told on delivery and Alicante WAS registered in the system... but unfortunately it was not correct. We found that out when we had to hand over the car in Malaga. Fortunately, we had the delivery photographed the car all the way around and when we show the photo at the delivery there were no further problems.
the team are nice and helpful. busy office though - be prepared to be waiting up to an hour to be processed and that was with pre-booking. suggest you go direct and not through 3rd party booking. there is an extra, hidden charge of 16Euro to pay as the car is at the train station, which i found annoying. there was no appropriate car seat for us but the office worked hard and found us one from the next door car hire place, so that was good of them. they are good at speaking English too
My 2 standout rental car experiences have both been Europcar. This time, when my reservation for a "Seat Ibiza or similar" turned out to be some tiny Mitsubishi Mie thing they freely upgraded me to Audi A1 when they learned of my travel plans. I found the staff member very polite and a joy to deal with, almost like speaking with a close family member! I experienced similar customer service when I dropped the car off at a different Europcar office in another city (Granada). Well done Europcar, you have made convert of me!
Car park in Alicante airport for Europcar is lethal when going from ground level to 3rd level where they have their office. The turnings are most severe and tight and high kerbs also. As you can see from photo that's what happened to me and I class myself as a very experienced driver.
