Rent a Car Vanrell - Head Office in Alcudia

Not very helpful when the car got stolen... Paying for a hire car but haven't got one... Until the police get the thives that stolen the car Please show me where in the "Terms and conditions" it says: If you decide not to take out the optional VANRELL COMFORT insurance, you will not be entitled to a replacement rental vehicle in the event that the car you are driving becomes unusable due to an accident where you are at fault, nor will you be entitled to a refund. As we where not at fault, this dosen't comply

I highly recommend Vanrell for car renting across the island. Process was smooth and efficient, car was in great condition! We chose the comfort package which added an extra level of convenience and stress-free to our experience.

I was a customer of this car rental company and I want to warn everyone against renting cars from them. The company shows a blatant disregard for human life. I was rented a car with a tire so worn out that the wires were visible. The tread depth was about 1 mm (I'm attaching photos). Of course, the tire burst, and they replaced it with a tire of a different size. A total failure. Not to mention that when I was stranded on the roadside, the car had no warning triangle, no vests, no tools, or even a spare tire. I had to wait for a mechanic to arrive, which cost me about 1-1.5 hours of the rental time. When I told the person in charge that if the front tire had burst while driving, I could have lost control of the car and died, they claimed that a tire blowout wouldn't affect the drive. Completely irresponsible people. As compensation, they offered me an additional day with the car, but I didn't want to have anything more to do with them. Once again, I strongly warn against them. Do not use their services, as they only care about money, not customer safety. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Very good car rental! We got an upgrade when we were getting the car and they were all very friendly. During our trip we got a flat tire and went back and they helped us directly by putting a new wheel without charging anything! We got a red Mini Cooper and named him pepper We had the best time!

LE: after writing my review, Vanrell contacted me showing great interest and support in finding a solution in making my experience with them better. I understood that their problems were based on the fact that some employees we interacted with did not have the right attitude towards the clients. The company really cares about its image and understands the importance of customer care. They offer me 100 euro compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, if I would go back, I'll try one more time my luck with them because I feel like my bad experience of an exception. Horrible experience with Vanrell rentals. We rented a Volkswagen and we received a Suzuki. Along with the car, we paid for a Maxi Cosi child seat, but we had a surprise to receive an EXTREMELY dirty car seat and a very cheap and unsafe one (I'll upload photos). If you are a parent you probably know that an uncertified child seat is dangerous for a baby, that is why we PAID extra for the Maxi Cosi. We tried for an hour (at 1 in the morning with a 9 month baby in our arms) to explain that the car seat that they gave us is not a Maxi Cosi and they argued that this is the Maxi Cosi that they have. It was a pathetic dialogue...and we ended up with an unsafe car seat because that was their only option. After a few days the car remained without battery and when we asked for an exchange car they told us that "the teleportation was not invented and we have to have patience". All that while we waited by our car in the sun with the baby in our arm because the car couldn't be locked due to the lack of battery. Furthermore, the price of their car is higher than others, so the price/quality report is not ok.

We did a little 3-day roadtrip over the Serra de Tramuntana, with 2 Abarths from Vanrell. The service and communication is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience for us and we can recommend Vanrell to anyone who is looking for a hassle free experience with this car company. We were arriving very late from a flight from Paris and were also leaving very early in the morning three days later. Late pickup and early drop-off was also very easy and well communicated. Thanks for everything!

Vanrell is by far the best car rental company I've ever dealt with. I don't give out 5 star reviews often but Vanrell is one of those exceptions! Tatiana specifically is absolutely fantastic, she went above and beyond for me when the first rental car I received was slightly scratched. Tatiana rapidly organised a replacement car at no extra cost which arrived at my hotel early the next morning ready to go and with a half tank. The other employee's i dealt with at the airport were very professional and kind also. Car was absolutely fantastic and i didn't have any issues whatsoever. If you're coming to Mallorca you absolutely must use Vanrell if you're considering a car hire. You will be very impressed by their services! Toby

Very easy rental process they spoke fluent English and everything was explained clearly, we took the Challenger out for the day, it was very clean inside and out and prepared on time like we requested, the valeters were even kind enough to install the child seat for us. Overall a positive experience with an awesome car that we don't get back home. If anyone is thinking of taking out the Challenger then bear in mind this thing is HUGE, and is not an easy beast to manage through the tight mountain roads or tight villages as we found out however its definitely an experience I won't forget and I would wholly recommend it to any petrol head wanting to try a big American gas guzzler.
