Expected to fill the car half tank but started with 1/3. Also got a bigger car than ordered, i got another view of the word "similar". So i guess the lowkeey standrard corruption that we have gotten used to this week. Got to see the mountains and drive among aggressiv drivers om small roads so i guess the spanish experience was fulfilled.

First visit on thursday was okay at this location of Cicar. Employees gave us information and told us we could rent a car starting from monday but not earlier. Though it was impossible to do the reservation on line we went to the office on December 23th. Here, we started with an empty and closed office during their announced opening hours. After 20 minutes the office was opened by an employee who was not in the mood to work. This was also noticible in the answers he gave us on the possibility of renting a car on monday. We will now rent a car from a company known by the hotel and will never go to Cicar again.

I want to share with you my experience of renting a car. We were met by a young man, the car that we ordered was not ready and we were offered a better option for free. We agreed and were pleasantly surprised. This car was with many assistants, more than I ordered and at such a price. We skied for 5 days without any problems, and managed to visit many places on the island, beautiful landscapes. Everything that this man promised us was fulfilled in full. Service 5*

Horrible experience with the car rental. Although we have also rented a car from Cicar in Tenerife and everything went perfect, this office made us lose one day of our vacantion. Fistly, the office should have opened at 14:30, but until 15 nobody showed up. At 15 pm, when the office was finally opened, we received an old Opel Zafira, although we reserved a Peugeot 208 or a car from a similar range. The car was very old and scratched, not to mention that it was a large van, not a mid-size car as we reserved. Even though we tried to drive with this car, it was definitely imposible to use that car during our whole stay in Gran Canaria. Thus, we asked for another car, but we were told that this is the only option. Thus, we ended up taking 3 busses until our hotel, having the money blocked by Cicar and losing 6 hours to get to our hotel. Honestly, this experience dissapointed me and made me lose money and time. I will never rent a car from Cicar again.

love the car and the website... BUT it lets you reserve when they are closed which is so annoying. then you show up at the time of your reservation and nobody is there. Google my business (Agaete) shows the wrong hours, so make sure you call before coming or you may need to wait!

I rented 2x from this place. The guy behind the counter is extremely friendly and helpful. I booked a small Fiat, but needed a bigger car, so I asked for a better one and got upgraded for free. Also there is usually no one there, so no waiting time needed. Parking is also free in the port or you can park in different places around the town. Cars are brand new. The car i got had around 8000 km so far.

Always friendly and quick service, no problems whatsoever. Great car and very accommodating staff.

Great service and very professional staff. The office is inside the terminal building next to the ticket office and the coffee shop. You can park the car in the designated area and pay no fee of your return it to a different office within the island.
