PaylessCar in Aeropuerto de Lanzarote

I wish I could give them 6 stars! Did airport pick up to drop off and had a nearly new car that just tipped over 4,000km while we had it, was clean inside, very good price and came with more than enough fuel to get you around the island. I wanted to thank the team for helping me fix my error after some of my notes were stuck together after a day of travel and they too had noticed the discrepancy the next day. We sorted it out and I really appreciated the work they did to sort out my error. I wouldn't go with another firm when in Lanzarote as I know the team are lovely, very (VERY) helpful and to the team that sorted me out!

We arrived from Italy and the lady who attended us in the afternoon was really kind, she gave us a better car than we expected, always with a smile, I recommend Payless car Lanzarote, no waiting, good price and good service! We'll be back!

Visited Lanzarote in July 2024. We called into the Costa Teguise branch and asked about hiring a car. Within minutes we were driving away. It was a ford focus and was perfect. Cost us around EUR100 which paid for its self with the trips we went on. No hassle what so ever all you need is your driving license. Paid cash and did not have to leave any card details or passport. All you have to do is refill the diesel when you return it. Cannot get much fairer. Would definitely recommend these guys!!

Great. No deposit, cheap, easy. We didn't have booking. Process was 5-10 min and drop off even simple, just drop the keys.

Overall amazing experience. The Fiat 500 could be a little cleaner in the interior and exterior, but in this case it was just a detail. When we picked up the car, there was significantly smaller queue for Payless in comparison to the other rentals - we had our car 15 mins after arrival. The pick up and drop off were easy, however it might be tricky to get back to the rental, the street signs aren't that clear. Car was collected full and in good condition. The price was much better than other companies. Would definitely rent here again!

We rented a Fiat Panda Crossover for a one week on Lanzarote. Overally car was in very good technical condition but it was a little bit dirty inside. Reservation without any hidden costs - unlimited kilometers, full insurance, NO deposit fee. You can pay either with cash or card after arrival. It was also easy and fast to pick up and drop off a car. This rental company has the best prices on Lanzarote! You won't find cheaper cars! I can honestly recommend it :)

Probably the best car rental company in the Canary Islands! Very easy booking, quick service at the counter, low prices, full coverage included (!) and you can pay in cash without any deposit. On top of it, you can hop onto another island (with insurance coverage). Having compared all the other companies in the area, the terms and prices of paylesscar were unbeatable. Wish we had a chain of paylesscar in Italy. Tip: If you travel also to Gran Canaria, you can book with Paylesscar as well. They don't have their office on that island, but you get a car from Cicar (a partner company with great service as well).

We got a Fiat Tipo for about 21 euro / day. No credit card needed and it's one of the few companies that accepts cash payments. This was one of the things we looked for. The car itself looked like it had a rough time in terms of bodywork( front and back bumper had scratches and the doors had bents also). From a mechanical perspective, the car worked great tough. No complains there. Shock absorbers did squeak a bit and you feel like you have a race car when in fact you're doing 60 km/h , but that is what you expect from a sedan car with a small engine(which i suspect is aspirated, no turbo-gasoline) and thay is a rental (32.k kilometers done if i remember right). Overall, pleased with the rental, no issues.
