I'm looking to hire a car for me and my family, I passed my test on the 27/05/2023, online it says I have to be driving 2 years, and last year when I tried to hire a car the car they said I must be driving at least one year, so I am a bit confused to how it all works, and if I would be required to lay down a deposit, I would appreciate it if someone got back to me.

Always the car hire we have used in Fuerteventura. Familiar staff , friendly and most importantly NEVER the horrendous queues you see at the other canary company Cicar. This morning at 0930 am Payless 4 people . Cicar had 80 in the queue. That would take way over and out and half if they had used them . We were sorted in 3 minutes . Great rates and the cars are always solid. On the one occasion we had an issue with the car they came out to us and sorted it in 90 minutes at our hotel. A great company of local canary people

Everything was perfect. Cheap prices, full insurance, additional driver for free. No waiting in line, quick rental. PS: I booked a cheaper car (Fiat Panda) and received a larger, more expensive car (Opel Mokka) for the same price :) Nice. No credit card required, which is good for me as there are no fees for pre-currency into euros. I will definitely come back again.

Excellent car hire! Hardly any queues (cicar has such a long queue!), friendly guy at counter, car was in good shape and insurance included! EUR80 for three day hire. What more could you want! Their car selection is limited, but for such a small island you don't need anything big. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful! Our plane was supposed to land at 20:45 but was delayed and we didn't get into the airport until 23:20. We fully expected the Payless staff to be long gone and were looking for a taxi however the unbelievably kind Payless guy had stayed past closing time and waited just for us! I had ordered a Ford Focus or Seat Leon and was disappointed but understanding when we received a Dacia Duster. It turned out to be great, practically new at 9k miles, super cool air con, drove brilliantly and lots of room - I'd ask for it next time. Faultless service and amazing staff.

Bad experience If you order a better brand of automatic transmission, we get a Dacia manual transmission. I found a flat tire in the morning and had to change it myself because none came. I reported the tire to Cicar or Payless and they repaired it. They work on Saturday and are closed on Sunday until 1 p.m.

There was no line at the counter and we got the key straight away. No deposit, nothing to pay other than the amount announced when making the reservation. We got a Peugeot 208 that had less than 15 thousand km on the clock. By the way, you can get cars from CICAR at PayLessCar. Pulled out, fueled up, off we went. We had no problems with the car at all. After the holiday we simply returned the key at the counter and we were done. The staff were friendly and helpful. I have nothing to complain about.

Wir haben Peugeot 208 bekommen, der auf dem Tacho weniger als 15 Tausend Km hatte. Man bekommt ubrigens bei PayLessCar Autos von CICAR. Ausgefahren, getankt, los. Booked a Renegade for a week in October 2022, got a newer, freshly washed Opel Mokka. Everything perfect. NO queue like at the competitor, which by the way is no longer a competitor, according to the employee, but now belongs to the same owner. Thats why we were able to pick up our car from the competition. Will book there again in 2023. What you need to know: Returning the tank empty is difficult. So you always leave some petrol in. But there are worse things. Update: Rented here again in October 2023 without any problems! The tank is now returned full, which is much easier. Paying in cash without depositing a credit card is still a very good argument for this provider.

Im Oktober 2022 fur eine Woche einen Renegade gebucht, einen neueren, frisch gewaschenen Opel Mokka bekommen. Alles perfekt. KEINE Warteschlange wie beim Konkurrenten, der ubrigens kein Konkurrent mehr ist, laut Aussage des Mitarbeiters, sondern zum gleichen Inhaber nun gehort. Deshalb haben wir auch unseren Wagen bei der Konkurrenz abholen konnen. Werde in 2023 wieder dort buchen. Was man wissen muss: Den Tank leer zuruckzugeben ist was schwierig. Man lasst also immer was an Benzin drin. Aber gibt schlimmeres. Update: Im Oktober 2023 wieder hier angemietet ohne Probleme! Der Tank wird jetzt voll wieder zuruckgegeben, was deutlich einfacher ist. Die Barzahlung ohne Hinterlegung einer Kreditkarte ist immer noch ein sehr gutes Argument fur diesen Anbieter.

Sin cola para recoger y devolver coche en el aeropuerto. Primero coche Ford Ka+ bastante desgastado y con un defecto pero me cambiaron sin problema por otro mucho mejor, el alquiler mas barato en comparacion de la mayoria de companias de alquiler en la Fuerteventura, seguro de todo riesgo en el precio pero cubre solo en carreteras asfaltados.
