Twice we have used them and never again. The customer service was the most shocking I have ever experienced. They act cheeky, snobby, sniggering between each other, speak to you rudely. I will never spend my money here again. You have lost a life long customer which is sad because the uk branches have been good. Reading your reviews others have had the same experience. That's no surprise. No repeat customers so you will loose millions. Hire new staff and start with the basics of good customer service again or you will keep losing money.

DISHONEST SCAM ARTISTS. I got a great discount on a rental car through one of the most common discount brokers that show up in search results. When I arrived, Europcar refused to provide me with the car unless I bought their insurance, even though they had confirmed the booking as placed via the broker, and even though my credit card includes rental car insurance or presented then with an "Infinity" Visa card, which is something I've never heard of. I see in the reviews that others have reported this agency for running the same scam. If you can arrange a car in advance from a different company, save yourself a lot of potential trouble and do so!
Fast and easy getting the car, fast and easy dropping the car off. The car was great. Having the fuel full to full makes life so much easier. Could not ask for better.
Literally the worst customer service I have experienced. Two members of staff are some of the rudest people I have come across. Tried to flog me an upgrade which I declined and then was given the most battered and scraped car I have even seen as a hire car, which even had an oil leak. Would rather not end up broken down by the side of the road with my 5 year old daughter. Staff (assume it must the be same woman other people refer to in the reviews) said it was a take it or leave it situation and said I should go and hire with another company. (Or I could pay them 140 euros to upgrade) Funny how at 10am they are sold out of all cars in the same class! Wonder what they will do for the rest of the day. I tried to take the staff details to include in my complaint but they started shouting and said they would call the police. Shocking for a global brand. Now still sitting in the airport 3 hours after my flight landed waiting for a car from another company. Avoid at all costs.
I recently went to Fuerteventura where I paid to hire a seat Arteca or similar but on arrival they had given me a VW T-Roc which I had the option to hire for a cheeper price then I paid to try and get something bigger like the seat Ateca. I also paid PS43 when hiring a car booster seat but when arrived I then had to pay a further PS73 for the booster seat so overall I paid PS116 to hire a car seat for a week but I paid PS132 to hire a car for the week that doesn't make sense I originally thought it was just a deposit incase I didn't bring it back but no turns out it was an extra charge.
Horrible service of airport staff We went to the airport to pick up our car and encountered a misunderstanding regarding the pickup time. The lady at the counter was quite unfriendly and unwilling to assist us. Then we contacted customer service for help. While on the phone, we were advised to return to the counter as they had the final authority. The lady at the counter didn't help at all, just said no and turned her back. After we commented on her attitude, she cancelled our reservation without any notice or confirmation from us, leaving customer service confused and causing significant inconvenience for us. Additionally, it was not possible to file a complaint over the phone, and we were directed to address our concerns at the counter. However, two Europcar employeesnwere also unfriendly and insulted us. I am still awaiting my refund from Europcar. Based on this experience, I would not use this company.
Great service at Fue Airport. Agent was friendly & spoke perfect English. Price was good for 2 weeks & we enjoyed the little citroen c3 very cute hire car. Good service all round would recommend! Thankyou
