A seamless experience. After a recent shockingly poor experience with Sixt (one of several I hasten to add - Boy Oh Boy have Sixt lost the plot) I was expecting more of the same from Enterprise. I was wrong. Apart from their office being in the very lowest bowels of the airport (most of the other hire companies are on the Arrivals level) it was plain sailing. The lady who handed the car over was incredibly friendly and efficient. Call me cynical but I was amazed to be given a car that was not dotted with dents. Even more amazingly the car drove well, did not smell weird inside and was clean. Wow! Handover at Oviedo was equally seamless and equally friendly and professional. Enterprise will certainly be getting more of my business. Sixt? I don't think so.
When contacting Enterprise CS about my Kate arrival, I was rest assured my reservation will stand, which didn't when I turned up at the airport rental counter. Bottom line was, EUR25 for the taxi to the airport, waiting there for two hours to get service, just to get the information that they do not have any cars left for me and my wife, and they won't refund anything. And I thought this kind of bad customer treatment of car rental agencies was a thing of the past.
This car rental is an absolute disgrace. We arrived later than out reservation (reservation was at 9am, we arrived around noon), which is sth that can always happen when traveling. They told us our reservation was cancelled an hour after pick-up time, and said this was stated in their in terms of use (fair enough, didn't read those in detail) - if was nowhere stated on the reservation itself, in no email, nowhere. Besides this fact, the employees were unhelpful to the max. On the upside, reading the other reviews here, I'm almost glad we were spared any further experience with them and proceeded to rent a car with another rental service.
Be really careful! They will find scratches which are not caused by you. Also this company is trying to sell you insurances and other items you don't need. They try to put pressure on you. Never book with them.
Friendly, no issues at return. Cars are a bit older and not well equipped. Compact elite (Mercedes a class or similar) was a badly equipped Golf with 77.000km.
An excellent rental again at Enterprise.. love the Hybrid Fiat 500 even though I'm 6ft 6 plenty of room to fit in and easy to park! Great service too offered at enterprise too..
Do not trust these people. I rented a car for 3 days and returned it in perfect condition. I recorded a video showing that it was in perfect condition. Even so they charged me over 1,000 euro in damages. I have shown them the video and after months of discussing it with my credit card company they will not correct the statement. I assume they have a kick back arrangement with a local body shop company. They are not to be trusted.
1 star ... because it is not possible to give 0 or a negative rating. Can not be an isolated case ... because we rented 2 cars separately ... and both (family members) had the same experience. - Rented category not delivered, but a lower one. At the handover, employees initially claimed that the vehicle corresponded to the rented category. Then we were given the choice of either taking over the vehicle or looking for another car somewhere else. - We should try our best during our vacation and ask over and over by phone whether a vehicle of the rented category would be available ... then they would exchange the cars (but we had to drive to the rental station at our own expense). After two weeks of repeating on the phone that no vehicles were available, we drove to the rental station in person ... and behold, there were cars of the rented category. - They exchanged a vehicle (but not without first accounting for an allegedly missing wiper blade ... but this was already missing at the handover) ... but to make the exact same exchange for the second rental (same error) ... they insist on charging an additional eur 20 exclusive taxes per day! - After the constant complaints at the rental station itself were not listened to ... we contacted the head office for spain. But even there, the customer service leaves something to be desired. After more than 1 month we received an email after about 1 week that the case would be forwarded to another department ... but since then: Nothing! - Another complaint about the brocker led to the result that they reimburse us EUR 70 for the downgrade (so you indirectly admit ... what you denied for weeks that the vehicle did not correspond to the rented category) They do not deliver the booked / paid services -> for me this means fraud. Tries to fool the customer with insignificant explanations. They have no idea about their own vehicles (hybrid without charging cable ... and claim that the vehicle is not hybrid and cannot be charged) I understand that they try to sell unnecessary insurance or additional services ... but that they try to fool and not give what has been booked and paid and only get annoyed and spoil the holiday ... is a reason to avoid this provider in the future.
