Beware! Do not book with this company. I had a car rental which included a loss waiver (paid additional for this). They did not honour this, started a claim with me and charged me an additional $600 for minor scratches and for late fees on their claim after being unresponsive to me over email for several business days. Not professional service. Go somewhere else for your car rental!

In january 2024 we rented a Skoda Kamiq for a day and as well the online booking in advance as the handing over of the car on the specific day went very smooth. Pricing was clear and no bad surprises. At the desk the service employee Barbara was very helpful and walked with us to the garage. At the end of the day we returned the car in the Parking Garage. Please for next time leave the exact Google Map coordinates for the entrance of Parking Garage , because in the several streets it was difficult to find.

Hired a car from the A Coruna office and I was misinformed about the price of an upgrade which was stated as being EUR25 more on top of the existing booking. Turns out, it was EUR25 per day not in total. Further, there was damage done to the left side of the car (driver side) before I received it and this was never mentioned during the transaction phase and it will be interesting to see what happens when I return the car. On top of that, I was charged EUR202.93 (which is more than the total car hire itself) for an intermediary (the cartrawler firm which are proving impossible to contact) reservation which was never advised during the completion of the transaction. All in all my Sixt experience has been quite poor and the level of service has been well below the standards that they pride themselves on. On a slight positive note, the manager of the office apologised (only after I was accused of misunderstanding the entire situation).

They also offered to bring me another one from the airport, which was not a solution for me to save time that I had already lost. Deposit 300 euros, it took them exactly 1 week to return it to me. The girl who attended us was very attentive, explained everything I needed and answered all my questions. The vehicle return procedure is very simple, contactless as it is outside office hours. Ademas se ofrecieron a traerme otro desde el aeropuerto, lo cual no era una solucion para mi para ahorrar tiempo que ya habia perdido. Fianza 300 euros, tardaron en devolvermelo 1 semana exacta. La chica que nos atendio muy atenta, me explico todo lo necesario y respondio todas mis cuestiones. El procedimiento de devolucion del vehiculo muy sencillo, sin contacto al ser fuera del horario de atencion de la oficina. Volveria a contratar con esta empresa, esperando que los vehiculos esten revisados.
