The best car hire experience i've had in a long ttime. Friendly profesional women working at Hertz A Coruna airport. Simple check in and return and they could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Top marks!
El auto todo ok, pero la atencion es realmente lenta. Tuvimos que esperar mas de media hora para que nos entreguen el auto porque habia solo una persona atendiendo y era muy lenta; pero si vos devolves el auto unos minutos tarde no tienen problema en cobrarte multas, recargos y adicionales. Ademas, la que nos atendio nos decia todo mal. Nos dijo mal la fecha de entrega y tuvimos que revisar nosotros si no habiamos indicado algo mal, y era error de ella. Luego dijo mal los datos de contacto y otra vez a verificar nosotros y estaban bien. Por ultimo nos dijo que la libreta que presentabamos no era una libreta de conducir y luego se dio cuenta de que si era. Realmente desatenta, solo nos confundia y muy lenta.
The car is all ok, but the service is really slow. We had to wait more than half an hour for the car to be delivered because there was only one person serving and it was very slow; but if you return the car a few minutes late they have no problem charging you fines, surcharges and additional fees. Furthermore, the person who attended us told us everything was wrong. She told us the delivery date wrong and we had to check if we had not indicated something wrong, and it was her mistake. Then he said the contact details wrong and again checked us and they were fine. Finally he told us that the book we presented was not a driver's book and then he realized that it was. Really inattentive, just confusing us and very slow.
Acabamos de volver de un viaje al Reino Unido en el que hemos recogido el coche en el aeropuerto de Londres y lo hemos devuelto en el "aeropuerto de Manchester". Entrecomillo esto porque te dicen que la devolucion es en el aeropuerto pero despues resulta que el parking de la recogida esta a 3 km del aeropuerto, con lo que a las 5 de la manana (nuestro vuelo salia a las 6:55) nos vemos con el problema de que: primero, nadie sabe donde esta el parking de Hertz porque en la zona de alquiler de coches no estan; segundo, no hay atencion telefonica que no sea una simple maquina y por ultimo, despues de que yo me quedara con mis hijas para poder facturar el equipaje y no perder el vuelo, mi marido tuvo que contratar a un taxi para que lo llevara a la direccion de entrega y gracias, porque pudo volver en el y por los pelos llego al vuelo. De no haber llevado al taxi por iniciativa propia, lo hubiera perdido. Entiendo que la zona de entrega no tiene porque estar en el aeropuerto pero de ser asi deberia estar suficientemente especificado a la hora de contratar el servicio. Pasamos una manana horrible porque alguien no hizo bien su trabajo
We have just returned from a trip to the UK where we picked up the car at London airport and returned it to "Manchester airport". I quote this because they tell you that the drop-off is at the airport but then it turns out that the pick-up parking lot is 3 km from the airport, so at 5 in the morning (our flight left at 6:55) we'll see each other the problem is that: first, no one knows where the Hertz parking lot is because they are not in the car rental area; second, there is no telephone service other than a simple machine and finally, after I stayed with my daughters to be able to check in the luggage and not miss the flight, my husband had to hire a taxi to take him to the airport. delivery address and thank you, because you were able to return in it and barely made it to the flight. El 17 de agosto recibi una pesima atencion por parte de las dos chicas que nos atendieron en el Parking de la T4, Barajas. Una verguenza la poca capacidad de resolucion que brindan. Trabajan con mucho desgano y desinteres, con una actitud muy borde y desagradable. NO recomiendo el servicio de la agencia Hertz. Es mucho mejor Avis, un personal estupendo y muy agradable en su trato.
On August 17, I received terrible attention from the two girls who attended us in the T4 parking lot, Barajas. It's a shame how little resolution they provide. They work with a lot of reluctance and disinterest, with a very rude and unpleasant attitude. I DO NOT recommend the service of the Hertz agency. Avis is much better, great staff and very pleasant in their treatment.
Mi resena seria mucho mejor si no fuese porque llevo una semana para recuperar mi fianza y llamando al telefono en dias y horas distintas y no contesta nadie. La entrega y recogida fue rapida, pero todo eso se ve empanado por la falta de respuesta y la tardanza de la devolucion de la fianza.
My review would be much better if it weren't for the fact that it took me a week to get my deposit back and calling the phone on different days and times and no one answers. The delivery and collection was fast, but all that is marred by the lack of response and the delay in returning the deposit.
We have rented a few cars when travelling to La Coruna with different providers and Hertz has been the best option so far. We dealt with Susana when we picked up the car and with Ana when we returned it and both of them were very nice.
I upgraded my car from compact to a larger vehicle to find that, at the last moment, they had canceled my rental altogether for some reason. No bueno.
I rented a car through Booking, the web page didn't allow me to rent a car beyond noon, asked for the code of the flight, and also it didn't say at what time Hertz was closed. When we arrived at the airport at 17:30pm, Hertz was closed. I called the support number and the guy didn't give a good customer service: He just said that "It's like a flight, if you don't get here in time you lose your reservation" A 4 day reservation, the car didn't go anywhere. He continued with "Good luck asking for a withdrawal with Rentalcars".
